6:30, A news reader starts to talk. Gary Hobson turns of his alarm-clock.
Outside his door there is a cat on a paper.
What iswrong with the picture? Gary gets his papers a day early. He
doesn't know where it comes from, but he uses it anyway. He runs around
Chicago saving people, using what he reads in his paper to his advantage.
If he succeeds the headlines will change. But there are a lot of people
who put Gary in trouble if he doesn't himself. And most of the people don't
take his advise until the very end. Then there also is Gary's "friend"
and "trusted" associate Chuck who tries to look at the sports pages of
the paper or the pages on the stock exchange. However, Gary mostly outwitts
him and make him bite the dust. When Gary is not saving people he is running
a pub called McGinty's, also with Chuck. What a live that is!
